The AI Assistant (accessed via the sparkles icon on the left sidebar) serves as an intelligent copilot built directly into the editor workspace. It helps you generate entire template layouts, write copy, rewrite or shorten existing text, and assist with dynamic variable expressions.

Target Scope Context

At the top of the AI Assistant panel, the Target indicator specifies the contextual scope for AI execution:

• Target: Entire Document: When no canvas block is selected, AI commands apply broadly to the whole template layout and structure (e.g., generating entire section layouts or changing global document tone).
• Target: Selected Component / Text: Selecting a specific text block, table, or section dynamically shifts the execution scope to focus solely on that active canvas element.

Quick Action Chips

Above the prompt input bar, preset Quick Action Chips provide one-click triggers for standard editing and refinement workflows.

Prompt Input Bar Features

The prompt box at the bottom of the panel gives you flexible ways to input instructions:

• Text Input: Type natural language prompts in the "What would you like to know?" field (e.g., "Build an invoice header with two columns for sender and recipient details").
• Voice Input (Microphone Icon): Click the microphone icon to dictate prompt instructions hands-free using real-time speech-to-text.
• Add Context (+ Button): Attach supplemental files, data payload schemas, or external instructions directly to the AI prompt context.
• Submit Command (↵): Click the purple submit button or press Enter to run your request.
