Header & Footer

Configure dynamic headers and footers, insert supported content blocks, and build multi-column header layouts.

Headers and footers appear at the top and bottom of document pages to display running titles, company logos, date stamps, and dynamic page numbering.

Header

Margin Alignment & Positioning

Headers and footers dynamically adapt to the physical dimensions of your page layout:

  • Margin Matching: The vertical space allocated for headers and footers automatically matches the Top Margin and Bottom Margin settings configured in your global Document Settings or Section Overrides.
  • Section Control: You can independently enable or suppress headers and footers on specific pages (such as cover pages or appendix sections) using the Header and Footer toggles in the Section Overrides panel.

Adding Content (+ Widget)

Header and footer containers feature a central + widget for inserting supported layout and content elements:

  1. Click the purple + button inside an empty header or footer area to open the inline block search popup.
  2. Search or select a supported component to add to the header zone (e.g., Text, Variable, Page Numbering, Condition, or Image).

Multi-Column Layouts

Headers and footers support column layouts, allowing you to position content across left, center, and right alignments (for example, placing a company logo on the left and a page number on the right).
